LingQ is up!

Here is the podcast

LingQis finally up and running. There are still a few things to do. We are still missing proper help and instructions. But the site is up. If you are not already a member, why not go to lingq and create an account. You can create an account for free. Soon we will be explaining the new system based on points. Obviously you will need points to talk with a tutor or write and have your writing corrected. But there are lots of exciting and useful things you can do for free. So go and have a look.

I sometimes go on a forum called "how-to-learn-any-language". They talk a lot about Pimsleur, Assimil, Michel Thomas and FSI. In my mind none of these systems comes even close to what we offer at LingQ. They do not even match up with what we offer for free.

goood! I was waiting for it :-) !

Sorry Steve, but LingQ is better that TheLinguist :-) ...I love flashcards!

Congratulations on reaching this great milestone! Thanks for the free options. Best wishes in the attempt at making the LingQ the best place to learn languages.

Steve says: "In my mind none of these [other] systems comes even close to what we offer at LingQ". Though a lot have been already told, I would be glad to go on with listening to Steve's mind. How would you, Steve, argue why the smentioned systems fall behind the LingQ? What would other people, who have indeed used another systems, say? I know and respect the meaning of Humberto.

Awesome stuff, and congratulations on making a great product!
