My interview on Radio Canada with Jacques Bertrand of La Tête Ailleurs

I forgot to mention that my telephone interview with Radio Canada (in French) can be heard at the Radio Canada website.

The interview was done over the telephone. I was in a "Hotel Rural" near Santarem, Portugal, surrounded by cork trees, olive trees and vineyards. After the interview my wife and I drove into the old town for dinner.

David Martin

Great interview! Is it really the case that you found Chinese easier to learn than French?

Steve Kaufmann

Chinese was more difficult, but I was more focused, knew what I was doing and learned it much faster.
